Seacrest Beach is a platted subdivision in Walton County. The county's own address records file its addresses under Inlet Beach, ZIP 32461, on streets that include Geoff Wilder Lane, Beach Bike Way, Flip Flop Lane, Woody Wagon Way, Lifeguard Loop, Cobia Run, Trigger Trail and Seacrest Beach Boulevard East and West. A 2009 Walton County Planning Division map in the county's draft beaches habitat conservation plan places Seacrest Beach between Alys Beach to the west and Rosemary Beach to the east.

The county parcel roll cites more than one recorded plat. It ties lots in a Block A and a Block B to a plat in Plat Book 12, pages 25 and 25A. The phase 2 plat has a Block A and a Block B of its own; to place a lot, read the plat book and page its legal description cites, not the block letter. Phases 2 through 9 appear in Plat Books 13 through 16: phase 2 at book 13, page 3, and phase 3 at page 46 of the same book; phases 4, 5 and 7 in book 14 at pages 36, 53 and 80, with phase 4A at page 84; phases 6 and 8 in book 15 at pages 40 and 100, with phase 6A at page 75; and phase 9 in book 16 at page 65. A phase 7A is cited to Plat Book 25, page 27.

Florida's statewide parcel roll dates the houses here from 1999 to 2024, and a single plat can carry most of that range: the phase 2 plat alone holds houses built from 2000 to 2024. Living areas on the same roll run from 1,192 square feet, on Blue Crab Loop East, to 5,317 square feet, on Beach Bike Way.

Seacrest Beach Owners' Association, filed in 1996, and Seacrest Beach II Owners Association, filed in 1997, both show as active on Florida's corporate registry, and the county roll lists different owners for the common parcels of different plats. It lists the 1997 association as owner of Greenway Parcels A and B, which it describes as 13.56 acres of common area, and of a 2.06-acre parcel it classes as recreation and park land.
