Moreno Acres is a recorded plat on Choctawhatchee Bay in Destin, drawn in July 1957 and filed with the Okaloosa County clerk on January 14, 1958, in Plat Book 2 at Page 165. Its title block reads Town of Destin, Okaloosa County, Florida. The legal description written on the drawing carries the boundary roughly 2,150 feet along the water's edge of the bay and back along the east line of the Main Street right of way, and it records that a Bayou Drive at the point of beginning had been renamed Main Street. C.L. Kelly and Mattie M. Kelly signed the dedication as owners, dedicating to the public the roads, streets, alleys, parks and other public places the plat shows.

Inside that line the plat sets out blocks lettered A through H and then J, with no Block I. The water line is drawn behind Block J lots 9 through 27, each running from the road back to the water, and lot 8 meets it only along a short stretch at one corner. Block J lots 1 through 7 do not reach it on the drawing. The plat also draws an unlabeled dashed line 30 feet inside the water line behind those bay lots. The interior blocks sit on a grid of Mars Street, Jupiter Street, Harbor Lane North and Planet Drive. Joe's Bayou appears on the drawing but outside the plat, past ground marked Not Included.
