The recorded name The Grand Sandestin reaches a second street number, 9600, where a further 96 residences stand and are marketed under the name LaSata; those have their own page here and are deliberately left out of the count above, so that the same residence is never counted twice. Taken together the recorded condominium is 264 residences under one declaration and one association. That association was chartered as a Florida not-for-profit corporation in June 2003 under the full name The Grand Sandestin at Baytowne Wharf Condominium Association, keeps its registered principal address at this street number, and is administered from Grand Boulevard. Its filed officer list carries something most condominium boards do not. Alongside a president, a vice president, a secretary and a director sits a seat recorded as the resort company's representative. It states that none of that money finds its way back into the resort company's own operations, or into the amenities that company owns and runs. On the far side of that line sit the resort company's own businesses, the courses, the courts, the rental bicycles, the chairs and umbrellas on the sand, and the beach club itself, each of them a membership and not a deeded right. The filed board seat for the resort company's representative is a third thing again, and belongs on the diligence list beside the two budgets.
Rental Policy

The roll puts 168 residences at 9500 Grand Sandestin Boulevard and 96 at 9600, all 264 under the same recorded name and the same association, and the 96 are the ones sold under the LaSata name and described on their own page. Publishing 264 here and 96 there would count the same residences twice, so the figure above is this street number only. For anything that follows the declaration rather than the address, the reserve study, the budget, a special assessment, the number that matters is 264.
